Thats not true in what we know about the China tarriffs. Look at Walmart prices on good brought in by Walmart from China. The tarrrifs are over 10% in some cases, yet Walmart prices have only gone up 2% since the China tarrifs were put in place.( All reported by John Bachelor on his radio prpgram.)
No, the American consumer will not be paying extra,because there is price competition at the consumer end.The Mexicans and the corporations will pay, or lose business by raising prices.
