Both GOP senators from Texas are joining other republicans in breaking ranks with the president over a tariff threat to Mexico.
Senator Ted Cruz says it is a game of chicken on who will blink first.
“I understand that the president is frustrated with congressional democrats refusing to do their job,” Cruz said. “That being said, this is the wrong solution to the crisis.”

Just because President Trump takes an unconventional and unprecedented approach to a problem doesn’t mean you automatically have to oppose it, just because it affects your state. Try thinking about the good of the whole country, Turd.
I like Cruz, but he is tone deaf on some of this stuff. He had to be dragged kicking and dragging to sign on to do something about H1B abuse in 2016.
