The White House has directed former officials Hope Hicks and Annie Donaldson not to turn over any documents to the House Judiciary Committee relating to their time at the White House, according to two sources familiar with the matter.
But Hicks, the former White House communications director, still could turn over documents the committee has requested related to the 2016 Trump campaign, a period that's not covered by executive privilege, according to House Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler.
The White House sent letters to the committee stating that White House Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney had directed Hicks and Donaldson, the former deputy White House counsel, not to turn over the documents.
The committee had issued subpoenas to both Hicks and Donaldson for documents, setting a Tuesday deadline. The subpoenas also include requests for testimony from the former White House officials for later this month.

Good. This is nothing, but a fishing expedition by the Dems to try to find something they can use against the president. They have no evidence of any wrongdoing.

“relating to their time at the White House”
The article did say they can still turn over documents related to the campaign.

Hope Hicks is a loyalist. I'd be surprised if she turned anything over.
No doubt she is lawyered up, and by the best.

Requests are not subpoenas. No need to exercise executive privilege over lame requests. However, there IS a need to exercise the middle finger in their general direction though.

Documents during campaign are not under executive privilege. I hope the Trump campaign stored those documents in the same place that Democrats use. For some reason, those places always catch fire.

White House Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney
Actually, I think it’s “acting’ Chief of Staff but hopefully he’ll be made permanent. He’s the first to act like Trump is his boss and not some outsider non-pol to be looked down upon. His true role is the fiscal draining of the swamp which is pretty important too though.

Give NOTHING to these lunatics in congress. These DIMs are seditious losers who are like petulant 9-year-olds. Maybe these limp-wrist losers will fall down and hold their breath? Or gnash their teeth (or dentures)? I laugh at their impotence...and established worthlessness.
