Virginia Tech hosted ten separate graduation ceremonies for students based on their identity. In May, the university held separate ceremonies for Black, Asian, Latino, Muslim, and LGBTQ students. Breitbart News reported in May that many American colleges offer separate graduation ceremonies for Black students.
The College Fix reported this week that Virginia Tech is one of many universities that have adopted separate ceremonies for student groups based on identity. For example, The Donning of Kente Ceremony is held to commemorate the graduation of Black and African American students.

Actually back there the white families are closer to the parking lots and can get first crack at getting to the freeway entrance ahead of the crowds. That’s at least something.
There’s nothing wrong with forced separation. As long as it’s equal of course. I’m surprised nobody has ever tested this “separate but equal” concept before.

Tickets for graduation ceremonies are going to be very expensive and board members, not deans will be handing out diplomas.
My nephew just graduated from VT. I’ll be speaking to him this week. I’ll have to ask him which ceremony he attended.
I think AOC and Schiff sent their coupons from the correspondence school ad in Women's World and after they graduated they got diplomas in the mail.
