Whose “team” do you think Gowdy is on in this article?

Until folks read up on their constitution and actually learn the power of Congress they can stuff it! Gowdy did his job SUPERBLY. Not only did he uncover the secret email server but nabbed countless others in perjury before our very eyes. I’ve harped and harped on these boards about how he uncovered enough that a junior prosecutor straight from college could seat a grand jury and obtain indictments. Nah some folks around here expected an all democrat house, senate DOJ and White House at the time to just get in up and prosecute. There was no way in hell Gowdy was getting prosecutions under those circumstances. Our best chance was within the first two years of the Trump presidency. I’m still waiting for those calls. All the while FReepers bashing merrily as if Gowdy had it within his powers to unconstitutionally do more.

Utter ridiculousness. Folks bitch and moan when Congress doesn’t talk to us then we finally get one that not only talks to us but informs us nightly on what he uncovered. All in the hopes that a lazy ass lethargic public would apply the pressure necessary to the powers that be to indict. HA! Fat chance!

However, this evidence that he uncovered didn’t just vanish under Magic fairy dust it’s still there for all to see. How about we ask THIS DOJ under our present administration when they are going to take this evidence and actually indict?

Trump has obviously been handing over his defense to lawyers who are supposed to know what to do. Obviously, they don’t.

What Trump can do, and refuses to do, is declassify the pertinent documents. Should have been done two years ago. But again, he hands off declassification to someone else.

Gowdy is in the perfect job now. As a media talking head he can continue to make big statements filled with tough talk but he no longer has to explain why he doesn’t do anything about it. Sweet gig for him.

Obama is not a natural born citizen.

True, but the Constitutional order of things is no longer with us. We are witnesses to the demise of These United States, and to rousing applause.

Read 22 and also read up on your Constitution on the powers of Congress. It’s funny how you fail to mention indictment powers under the DOJ within the executive. Coincidence?

Sick of cheerleaders. Instead of coming down on this DOJ under our President it’s easier to go after the guy who was the one that actually did his job

Excellent post. Gowdy is not perfect, but he is one of the good guys.

Too much simple-mindedness around here lately. Lots of speaking from ignorance and an unwillingness to learn.

FR is a great place to learn. Members of the forum should avail themselves of this rather than simply using it as a place to express their feelings without engaging in real dialogue.

Thanks for correcting the record.

Gowdy is a bought and paid for spokesman of the controlled conservative opposition on the Uniparty plantation. His disgraceful round of fake news media interviews during 2018 election season confirmed that without a doubt.

Gowdy did his job SUPERBLY.

Hilarious. Gowdy failed miserably gathering facts on Benghazi. He failed miserably investigating Democrat crimes and substantively supporting a POTUS under treasonous assault during 2017-18.

In fact, Gowdy seemingly took great pleasure in undermining POTUS during numerous fake news TV appearances last year. Now he’s back running his mouth and completely undeserving of the participation medal you seek to give him.

Interesting, you never hold accountable who is to blame for no indictments. I wonder why that is? Could it be because for once you’d have to post that the DOJ under the prior administration and THIS administration are do nothing? That the only one that did his job was actually Gowdy? Does it tarnish your image of the present administration because you’d have to verbally hold accountable on who is to blame? Enough of the emotional diatribes. In your world Gowdy should have questioned, indicted, charged, heard oral arguments, rendered verdict, sentenced, transported to prison, acted as warden through the sentence.

Get real

With respect to Benghazi it was his job to question and collect facts. I know you’d like for him to “lock her up” but that wasn’t what he was tasked to do. Congress doesn’t render verdict. Please take the time to actually read the powers of Congress and what they’re tasked to do. This isn’t American Idol

I missed his report.

What did he say about Hillary and Obama lying in the faces of the survivors?

What did he recommend as an action against the president for not ordering a rescue operation from nearby Sicily?

What did he recommend about the president sending Susan Rice to lie to the media, on 5 Sunday morning talk shows, about the cause of the attack and then lying himself for 12 days to the US and the world?

What did he recommend be done with generals who failed to respond or speak up about the CO’s recalcitrance?

What sanction did he recommend against the SOS?

Adam Schiff never found a piece of classified information he wasn’t willing to trade to the press for great coverage... and advantage. He’s a disgusting POS...
