CNN’s Christiane Amanpour praised Angela Merkel on Tuesday, cheering the “courageous, compassionate immigration policy" that has let over one million Muslims into the country. Conversely, she worried about the “dark old demons” returning in Europe.
So what is the reality of Merkel's "courageous, compassionate" immigration policies? As even the lefty BBC has had to acknowledge, migrants may have "fuelled violent crime rise." And as the Express has reported about the immigrants, "Germany admits 75% face long-term unemployment and life on benefits." Meanwhile, poverty among elderly pensioners in Germany has "reached a historic high."

Well, I guess it does take a sort of courage to let in hundreds of thousands of potentially violent criminals and jihadists into your until-recently peaceful country.
I’m not sure gated communities are all that they’re cracked up to be. I was visiting my aunt once, I think for Christmas — she lives in a gated community — and there was still crime going on within the community.
Amanpour is as fugly on the inside as her awful accent is on the outside.

If there were Moslems in her neighborhood, she might have a different view of them as neighbors!
If there is another journalist more anti-American I don’t know who that could be.
She’s an absolute disgrace, Iranian Muslim father.
She specializes in anti-Americanism on the world stage.
Cooper, Blitzer, Tapper, Acosta, Lemon, Jones, et al have the domestic anti-American beat.

Honest to goodness Amanpour is the first unattractive upper/upper middle class Persian woman I have seen who was unattractive. She looks like a cross between the elder Julia Child and the Kroft puppet of Sam Donaldson on “DC Follies.”
