“cant believe how bad The Weather Channel has failed with this outbreak.”
Horrible. They’re showing some documentary. I’m trying to get information about the Tipp City and Dayton airport area where friends of mine live and they have no coverage.
Just talked to my Dad in Beavercreek Twp. Stormy but tornadoes passing to north of them.
Well, thank God there’s local coverage.
Don’t forget the National Weather Service websitev

Good. The photos and video coming out of Dayton and northern suburbs are pretty grim. Prayers up for the victims and first responders.

TORNADO LIKELY passing REALLY CLOSE to the Columbus Airport Terminal Radar (TCMH) #OHwx #Ohio TIME NOW: 12:14am ET
Even with “24-hour news,” if something happens between 11 pm and 6 am, good luck finding out about it.
Hopefully no tornado touchdowns for Cols area

Here’s an earlier tweet when the storm moved into Dayton:
“@jamesaydelott
TORNADO EMERGENCY DAYTON, OH.
Dual pol Doppler radar showing debris loft above 20,000’ - statistically likely to be EF4 or stronger”
looks like that storm might stay strong enough to be dangerous into Pittsburgh and Youngstown.

This time of year, strong storms can pop up quickly.
We have had similar the last several days/nights in OK/AR. They can ramp up and get severe before the NWS and local TV see them on radar and issue warnings.
I think he has some good information.
Yikes. Wonder if Pittsburgh is in the path of destruction?
