House Speaker Nancy Pelosi snapped at White House counselor Kellyanne Conway after a tense, aborted meeting on infrastructure Wednesday, a senior administration official told CNBC.
“I don’t talk to staff. I talk directly to the president,” Pelosi said after Conway asked the speaker a question, according to the official.
The interaction followed President Donald Trump’s abrupt exit from a meeting with Democratic congressional leaders.
Pelosi earlier in the day accused the president of engaging in a “cover-up” by blocking White House aides from providing testimony and responding to document requests from congressional investigations.
The president responded by saying he doesn’t “do cover-ups” and that he could not work with Democrats on legislation until they stopped investigating him.
In a last-minute press event at the Rose Garden, Trump said he “walked into the room and I told Sen. Schumer and Speaker Pelosi, ‘I want to do infrastructure’ ... but we can’t do it under these circumstances.”

I truly think that’s already happened. Mark Levin was playing some PDJT remarks of this meeting today, and then Mark played some Pelosi audio diarrhea. I hear Levin on he way home from work, and at least three times I yelled in the car “WTF was that!!!!!” when I heard Pelosi...stuttering, stammering and incoherent. Disgraceful.
I’m betting Our Guy jerked Nancy’s turk in that meeting, and she was undergoing some PTSD from the encounter.

"I don't talk to staff..." means that Executive Privilege justifies "staff" not "talking to" Congress.
By the Speaker of the House's own words, she just gave President Trump the out he needs to keep his staff from appearing before Congress.
Only Cabinet Secretaries and other Congress confirmed office holders should appear before Congress from now on.
Nadler's bogus subpoenas for "staff" like Hope Hicks can now be ignored because the Speaker "doesn't talk to staff."

Isn’t that the truth....especially since she was going to retire if Hillary won, but instead she had to stay...the stronghold her party held was going to be broken and she knew it!
