Mayor Pete Buttigieg is the "most impressive... candidate" in terms of political talent in the current 2020 Democratic presidential field, Brit Hume said, comparing the South Bend, Ind. mayor's rise in popularity to the "emergence of Barack Obama."
Hume said Buttigieg is "as fluid as he can be, [and] he seems to have something to say about nearly every issue."

Completely agree. Buttigieg should be taken seriously. I, too, think he’s talks a good show and is charming like Mr. Obama but, imho, looks like this guy believes all the drivel that he spouts vs Mr Obama’s simply talking the talk.

His communist ideas are SO good that South Bend is worse off since he’s been in office - even as Indiana has done well as a whole especially with Trumps economy.

2020 probably not but he’s setting himself up for beyond that. It’d be hard for someone like him to win Gov, Senator of Indiana... this is all he’s got.
Our nation is full of mayors, probably many are as competent or more. His main angle is being gay.
