Well, that’s okay, just raise the taxes a bit more to reenergize the fund with another 4 trillion more...
Fiddlesticks...we’ve run out of other people’s money. That means fully funding it with a government program that’s $11 trillion dollars... and collapse the entire GNP. Start those presses rolling out more dineros, ‘cause that always works and you have yet again the economic collapse of a socialist state.
For global warming, where the entire country’s carbon footprint is dwarfed by fires in timber that could have been harvested but instead is ‘protected’ in neat little matchbook rows to burn better. STOP repeating left-wing cr@p here. No one goes hungry in the United States unless they want to. Ever hear of Food Stamps (or whatever less obvious name they call food stamps now)? In 1948 (1948 !) JFK, when he was running for reelection to Congress, campaigned for universal heathcare beginning his pitch with, "Now that we have conquered hunger in America ..." I have to point out that in the US, a billion is a thousand millions, while a trillion is a million millions.
In the UK, a billion is indeed a million millions, as you say.
In powers of 10:
- Million = 10^6
- US Billion = 10^3*10^6 = 10^9
- UK Billion = US Trillion, = 10^12
Burn the money. At least it’ll give some heat.
