A group of 10 transgender migrant women, who traveled to the U.S. as part of a Central American caravan, are celebrating after they won their asylum cases last week and were released from a migrant jail in Texas. The migrants were represented by lawyers for the immigrant rights groups RAICES.

Here we go, bohica folks. We are seeing the personification of the ‘wretched refuse of your teeming shore’ arriving en masse with more to come.
They won’t tilt the demographics of the country very much, but their mental condition makes it difficult for them to meld into the workforce. I don’t know what great opportunity awaits them, but they will gravitate towards larger cities with more of their ‘sisters’ and survive somehow.
