Wray Says He Wouldn’t Use ‘Spying’ Term To Describe FBI Surveillance
Daily Caller ^ | 05/07/2019 | Chuck Ross

Wray said he was not personally aware of any evidence the FBI illegally surveilled the Trump campaign.

The FBI relied on the unverified Steele dossier to obtain Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act warrants against former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page.

An FBI informant, Stefan Halper, also made contact during the campaign with Page and two other Trump aides, George Papadopoulos and Sam Clovis. Halper was accompanied on his outreach to Papadopoulos by a government investigators working under the alias Azra Turk. It remains unclear if Turk was working for the FBI or another government agency, such as the CIA.

Wray’s resignation letter just moved to the top of the pile on Trump’s desk.

Stay did not deny there was spying. All he said was he was not “personally aware of any”.

And when the indictments come down his resignation letter gets activated.

"Not personally aware" doesn't work anymore.

WTF is up with Wray? I thought he was on our side. Originally he seemed like a solid pick. Almost from the beginning he seems to have done nothing to stand up for conservatives and everything he can do help liberals and the deep state and stay just this side of the line.

Wray needs to be asked to resign, or be fired. Barr needs an FBI director who will back him up, not undermine him.

Yeah, it is spying. No matter what other words they want to use.

The nimrods are the same ones that call a P3 Orion a “spy-plane”.

Whether legal or illegal this was spying on the Trump campaign. All “spying” means is that the surveillance was hidden or disguised. The illegal part is the failure to follow the law in getting the warrants, and doing it prior to apparently even seeking the warrants.

Call it whatever you want. But, when certain DOJ officials concoct phony reasons to secretly gather information for political purposes to try to get rid of an elected US president, someone needs to go to jail.

The moment Grey claimed that the act that most angered him in his career was when Trump temporarily stopped the government and paychecks, (in the middle of all the FBI malfeasance and wrongdoings), is the moment I realized that he was the WRONG person for the JOB.

He is just another little wilted flower out to ‘protect’ the reputation of the FBI by BURYING and covering any bad information. Just like a catholic priest.

He doesn’t realize that a festering wound needs CLEANING, needs PAIN, needs to have its puss squeezed out, its gangrenous flesh cut out and scraped, the rest of the wound’s flesh salted over, and full of antiseptics.

Otherwise, under his tenure the FBI will continue to fester and never regain its reputation.

Hopefully Grey will quit or be fired soon.

Surveillance is even worse! The president in power and the entire government in power was abusing its power to surveil a political opponent based on bought and paid for lies made up by the democrat candidate’s campaign team!! This allowed them to do much more than a simple spying operation! As bad as it gets! Soviet style.
