FBI Director Christopher Wray said Tuesday that he wouldn't use the word "spying" to describe the bureau's investigative work, breaking from Attorney General William Barr's use of the term in reference to the probe of Donald Trump's 2016 campaign...the FBI was working to help Barr "understand better" how the investigation was launched.

Trust Wray. LOL. Guess we can put that one to bed if he has seen no evidence of Democrat criminality after all these years.
It’s not “spy spying.”
Barr wins, spying is spying. America knows Trump and his campaign were spied upon. Move now as to how you are going to stay out of jail.
Every candidate should get “one free spying incident.” At least every Democrat candiate.
AG William Barr seems to have a good BS detector and he’s Wray’s boss.
So what would you use, Wray??? “Covert surveillance”???
Alexa/Siri: What is spying????
So they've gone from ridiculing Trump's accusation that he and his campaign were spied on to arguing about the definition of what is spying. I guess that's progress.
ATTORNEY GENERAL BILL BARR SAYS HE WONT STOP USING THE WORD SPYING!

Attorney General Bill Barr sparred with Democratic Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse Wednesday over the AGs use of the word spying to describe the actions the FBI took against the Trump campaign.
Barr alleged during his testimony to the House Appropriations Committee in April that spying did occur against the Trump campaign as the FBI investigated alleged ties to Russia.
Whitehouse grilled Barr about his use of the term spying in relation to those efforts, suggesting that the term was not accurate because the activities of the DOJ were authorized.
Im not going to abjure the use of the word spying,’ Barr said. My first job was in CIA. I dont think the word spying has any pejorative connotation at all.
Barr continued, I think spying is a good English word that, in fact, doesnt have synonyms because it is the broadest word incorporating really all forms of covert intelligence collection, so Im not going to back off the word spying.’
To further defend his use of the word, Barr pointed out that many members of the media also used the term before they decided to attack him for doing the same.
Frankly, we went back and looked at press usage and up until all the faux outrage a couple of weeks ago, its commonly used in the press to refer to authorized activities, he explained.
Its not commonly used by the Department, Whitehouse retorted.
Barr shot back, Its commonly used by me, planting a smirk on his face.
Why are the Rat Congressits and rabid their Mediots so upset with AG Barr using the words spying on!
“Court-ORDERED surveillance” has been used by our domestic enemies a lot.
Eventually, they get to where they are explaining what the meaning of "is" is.
Wray is a total Deep State stooge disaster appointment. He was no doubt recommended to Trump by the current alleged supporters of POTUS like Graham. Remember that when you see their Pro-Trump beltway theater performances on TV.
This is WHY the FBI must be disbanded.
They will, without fail, circle the wagons no matter how wrong and unacceptable their actions are.
They used the dossier with the FISA Court to do the spying. That is proof that it was spying.
“I believe that the FBI is engaged in investigative activity, and part of investigative activity includes surveillance.

Spoken like a true Deep State bureaucrat.

“Why are the Rat Congressits and rabid their Mediots so upset with AG Barr using the words spying on!
Yes, and why does Wray identify with that group and announce a mission to re-educate Barr?
