NYU tuition...$51,828
They’d do better enrolling in trade school.
That amount is sick. There should be congressional investigations into the high price of college.
Yeah and if you don’t cry like a bitch about no food or the cost of the college you come out making 150k if you take a real major.
If you don’t live in NYC and don’t know the salaries for certain fields, it’s impossible to put the cost in perspective.
If you follow up with NYU law school, you are making 400,000 a year, like my cousin is, by 40.
Now one’s forcing anyone to go anywhere.
A lot of professors need their pay cut by about a third. That should feed their hungry students.
When I was in college in the 60’s, I always had a box of crackers and jars of peanut butter in my room’s desk. Fed me and a few others.
We didn’t have a lot of money to spend on anything. I got $30 a month from my parents, plus whatever money I had earned working each summer.
This was to be used for additional food (I paid for both room and board (food)), transportation (subway or bus in Philly), dates (almost none except on campus), outside entertainment (none), 50 cent T-shirts for my team workouts, and occasionally to pay for student event (Mary Wells/Lou Christie show, Bill Cosby show, that’s about it).
Remember, most of the colleges mentioned are in New York City/State, which is run by Mafia punk Cuomo and psycho-Commie DeBlasio. Need I say more?
Hey kids, welcome to the Democrats “New World” of indoctrination, overpriced professors/tuition and books. You wanted it, you got it. YOU OWN IT.
No way do I feel sorry for someone who pays more for their education than the cost of my house. In fact, if I were an employer, I wouldn't hire anyone with college debt. I'd wonder about their resourcefulness, future financial needs, judgement, and analytic skills.
