Normal people, when proven to be wrong, will admit their mistake and apologize. But we aren’t dealing with normal people. That’s why, when the report of Special Counsel Robert Mueller was released this week, not one Democrat – elected, pundit, or with a press credential – did anything close to what could be considered a mea culpa for the mistakes (if I’m being generous) or lies (if I’m being honest) they made repeatedly since the election of Donald Trump. In fact, they went in the opposite direction, proving they have learned nothing over the last 2 years.
To be sure, there were unfavorable things about the President in the Mueller Report. That wide-ranging of an investigation with zero assertions of privilege will turn up anyone’s worst moments. Most of those moments were fueled by understandable anger at the naked attempt to hinder his presidency, which it certainly did. What innocent person wouldn’t want to put a quick end to an unjust anchor around their neck?
The purveyors of those lies did no soul searching when exposed. In fact, they celebrated themselves; “journalists” celebrating others in their profession for the accuracy was like watching Ted Kennedy cheer other drunks for making it farther over that bridge before plunging into the water.
You’d think this seeming lack of self-awareness was a result of living in a bubble, a self-imposed obtuseness based on the company they keep. While it’s true that they roll in circles more uniform in thought that anything that ever happened in Nuremberg, they aren’t unaware of the fact that two years of declarations out of their mouths were proven to be false on Thursday by the man they’d built up as the one who would “get Trump.”
They simply decided not to care.
Supposed journalists, both in print and on cable, shifted gears from “collusion” to “obstruction” faster than Vin Diesel living his life “a quarter mile at a time.” (I was going to say Shirley Muldowney, but I doubt that would make sense to many people.)
Of course, this moving of the goalposts was one of the most obviously telegraphed punches in history. Stevie Wonder saw it coming.
When given the opportunity to simply report Mueller’s findings and save whatever remaining residue of credibility they had left under their fingernails, they opted to double-down and scraped them clean. “Mueller did find proof of collusion,” a softball team’s worth of overpaid CNN “analysts” and personalities uniformly declared. “And worse, there is ample proof of obstruction of justice.” Not one dissenting voice for hours challenged the narrative on CNN or MSNBC that so closely resembled that of the Democratic Party that you’d be hard-pressed to tell the difference between a transcript of it and an official DNC press release.
Why would they do it? How could they have not learned anything after the initial announcement of the report’s conclusions a month ago, when their audiences, recognizing they’d been deliberately misled – promised comfort food only to be delivered Spam – left them faster than Nicolas Cage moved to annul his latest marriage?
It’s because they’re not only committed to left-wing ideology, they’re pot-committed to destroying President Trump. The fervor with which they’ve pursued him makes Captain Ahab passionately indifferent on the subject of white whales. Mueller was their best hope, their only real hope. And while his report delivered some embarrassing information, it didn’t deliver what they’d wanted, what they needed. So they just pretended it did.
They’d so riled up their audiences; those who are left would never accept the truth. The choice was between being honest or losing them. They chose the next lie.
In order to defeat Trump next year, should they fail to remove him before then, they need to keep the liberal mob in an emotional frenzy. It’s the thesis of my book – people in an emotional state don’t think or act rationally and are easy to manipulate. It worked in last year’s midterms, and they are counting on it in 2020. If these people who’d sunk their very existence into believing the President of the United States is a puppet and a criminal were suddenly told all their hopes and dreams were wrong, they’d be demoralized to the point they may not vote and they’d likely not volunteer or donate. Most importantly to the media, they would no longer watch.
These TV activists can’t lose any more of their audiences, they have so little left. They’d rather lose their credibility and self-respect than their overpaid jobs. The only option is to lie.
Unfortunately for them, reality is not dependent upon anyone’s belief in it. Sooner or later, it will sink in to the heads of even the truest of believers. The trick the left will try to pull off is to keep this lie alive through November of next year. If this week showed us anything, it’s that all lies are eventually exposed. Most people learn that as children, liberals seemed to have missed that lesson.
Trump should build the wall out of Russian Collusion.
People can’t get over it.
Liberals have learned two things. First, as John Wayne put it, never apologize, it’s a sign of weakness. Second, as Goebbels put it, repeat a lie often enough and people will begin to believe it.

This is CRITICAL for our side to understand. The media behaved EXACTLY the same way when the Cold War ended. They didn’t, for a minute, apologize for telling the country, over and over, that the Communists were the good guys and the war-mongering Republicans were the bad guys, and that Reagan [or Reagan/Bush, if they wanted to split the credit] were the ones who ended that terror for Eastern Europe. Similarly with the Valery Plame crap, when Scooter Libby was framed, FOR MONTHS, even though everyone knew that he wasn’t the culprit - they just went on with it because it was damaging Bush.
Nope - they just ignore their FLAT OUT LIES and simply ‘move on’ to their next set of lies. They need to be STOPPED and the only way to stop them is for SOMEBODY on our side, someone with some money, to literally buy up these media outlets, or at least some of them, and then FIRE everyone with a Journalism or Communication so-called ‘degree’, and replace them with normal people...and hint, there are literally millions of normal people who could simply report on the news, rather than trying to do an end-around of the political process.

The same reason that a small band of Bolsheviks were able to impose Communism and murder millions of people...complacency.
People are much more likely to spend their time and effort into ‘changing things’ than fight to keep them the same. Also the rich on our side figure that regardless of how bad things get here, they can buy their way to safety, in another country if needed. And then the intimidation factor - look at what Trump’s family has to deal with...and that’s why Trump is so incredible - he was set for life, his kids were set for life, his grand kids were set for life, and there was probably enough money for his great grand kids to not have to worry...the rich on our side, in that situation, with the one exception of Trump, prefer to lay low and enjoy their money, while being pretty much left alone.
The panic resulting from denial of the loser Hillary losing the election resulted in totally irrational thought and behavior.
The losers now know there is nothing to be done to reverse the election.
What’s worse is the dawning of the fact they are going to lose again. That is topped by the realization that Nancy Pelosi can do nothing to change anything.
The collective they are screwed
If the left-wing learned anything, it wouldn’t be left-wing.
