Trump’s criticism of Congresswoman Omar is complete hypocrisy. Trump says “We will never forget (9/11)!” Yet it is Trump who has been acting as al-Qaeda’s big brother and protector in Syria, and turned America into the prostitute of al-Qaeda’s biggest supporter--the Saudis, who have been spending billions of dollars spreading their exclusivist, radical interpretation of Islam throughout the world, the very ideology that has been inspiring al-Qaeda, ISIS, and other terrorists to carry out their barbaric acts.

Someone is trying to stay relevant.
Rush has been talking about it a lot lately - how D’s used to pose as moderates to win presidential elections (then govern as radicals) but thanks to Twitter, they’ve openly embraced the crazy.
Tulsi Gabbard is a very attractive, articulate female who could give voters a plausible alternative to Trump in a general election. Fortunately for us, she has less of a chance of winning the nomination than Eric “atom bomb” Swallwell. Just look at how she has to pander to jihadist wing of the Democrats just to get noticed.
She’s polling at .7% among the future losing party anyways.
I have lurked at the DUmp for many years. They have had many threads, especially after losing elections, about how they need to frame their message better. It’s all about framing the message, never about telling the truth about their real agenda, because they themselves know that their real agenda would never win over most American voters, though that’s changing thanks to the votes of many immigrants, both legal and otherwise, and millennials brought up indoctrinated all their lives by the ‘rat propaganda arm, the msm (and taxpayer-funded NPR, PBS, etc. I have called and written congressmen begging them to introduce legislation defunding NPR and PBS from taxpayer funds, even though I know it will never happen. Conservatives are forced, metaphorically speaking, to pay for the bullets used to assassinate us).

A lot of conservatives, along with everyone else, do not like our relationship with Saudi Arabia or our being part of regime change efforts in Syria.
Yes, they have always previously had a bit of a conundrum, because they needed to get a message out, but without telling the truth, the whole truth, of their agenda, which would have traditionally been unacceptable to a majority of Americans. Now, with their newest young radical leftists playing “bad cop”, it has become possible for them to test the waters in presenting their real agenda of socialism and a leftist tyranny. Consider how in just a few decades they have gone for demanding freedom of speech, no matter how scurrilous or scatological, to “no-platforming”, stifling of conservative political speech, their attempts to control even speech from the pulpit-a few years ago, Houston’s mayor tried to enforce a regulation that sermons be vetted for “hate speech”, particularly targeting speech from Biblical scripture which named homosexuality as an abomination (the mayor was a lesbian). The youngest generation eligible to vote are receptive to the socially “liberal” (actually libertine) message, and the immigrants, amongst others, are receptive to the many bribes of freebies. For free stuff and libertinism, they will trade their birthright of true freedom (not to mention the new leftist Puritanism, but this comment is too long already :) ).
The slogan for abortion has gone from “rare but safe and legal”, the cry of sodomites has gone from “government out of our bedrooms” to “support and celebrate our perversion or we’ll make you pay”. The left couldn’t reveal their true agenda for a long time, hence the concern with “messaging”. That is now becoming less of a problem, as the coming generations have been/will be indoctrinated to the left’s true message of socialism, even quasi-communism, and bribes of free stuff to trade our actual freedom for a libertinism that will pass as “freedom”.
True, just as conservatives have opposed the many attempts of Congress (including “our” team) to pass amnesty, and have tried to get them to merely enforce existing immigration law, if nothing more. One of “our own”, John McCain, called Tea Party members “whacko birds”, for merely trying to hold Republicans in Congress to the Republican platform and their own campaign promises. Our SC upholds sodomite mirage, while costing up to countries which execute sodomites.
What the majority of Congressional representatives are not, is “representative” of their conservative constituencies, and as far from being public servants and statesmen, as they are from being like the Father of our country, George Washington.
