Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” South Bend, IN Mayor Pete Buttigieg, a likely 2020 Democratic presidential candidate, attacked evangelical Christians that support President Donald Trump by claiming “hypocrisy is unbelievable.”
Buttigieg said, “It’s something that frustrates me because the hypocrisy is unbelievable. Here you have somebody that not only acts in a way that’s not consistent with anything I hear in scripture or church were it is about lifting up the least among us and taking care of strangers which is another word for immigrants, and making sure that you are focusing your efforts on the poor. Also personally how you’re supposed to conduct yourself, not chest pumping look at me-ism but humbling yourself among others. Foot washing is a central image in the New Testament. We see the diametric opposite of that in this presidency.”
He added, “I think there was a cynical process where he decided to, for example, begin to pretend to be pro-life and govern accordingly. Which was good enough to bring many evangelicals over to his side....

Well, that is cool and all, but they never mention what Jesus said after that.
Sure, He said not to judge, that is left to the Lord.
But Jesus actually says don't judge as a hypocrite.
In other words don't judge people who are diddling little boys, while doing the same.
Period. Full stop.

Don't go around parading yourself as a paragon of virtue, when you have many skeletons in your own closet, so to speak.

The same can be said for using overzealous Government mandated Taxation to pay Planned Parenthood to murder the Unborn because it’s the Christian thing to do.
Our priest’s homily this week focused on the woman who was to be stoned for committing adultery, and our Lord admonished those who would stone her to cast the first stone if he or she was without sin. Then he made the point that those who quote this often leave out the concluding statement: “Go and sin no more.” A lot of non-Christians like to emphasize the first part, but not the endpoint which, IMO, has equal weight with the first.
It’s not just Marx. He is well-versed in Saul Alinsky. Ever read “Rules for Radicals”? His talking points are straight outta there, a book that is dedicated to Satan. I kid you not.

I watched this interview this morning. Glad to see it’s highlighted here. It was a stunning case of idiocy for Buttigieg to criticize the character of DJT, who has done nothing —as President— to deserve Pete’s scorn.
Mr. Bittigieg is not a born-again Christian, or he would understand how a man can change, regardless of his past, when he becomes born again. And yes, I do believe that DJT is born again, as do many evangelicals. Don’t like his style... too bad. He’s going up against MSM evil.
DJT did not run to be the Sunday School Superintendent of the Untied States. You think Romney, or Jeb, or Rubio would have got done what this President has?? It’s not 1950 folks.
