I believe that every person who can show that they have been held as a slave against their will, should be eligible for reparations from their former owners. There is already a method for the slaves to receive their payment via civil suit.

They KNOW the measure is NOT about getting legislation achieved!!! It is 100% about mounting another “talking” point for candidates for the 2020 elections. Why is that? Because they KNOW the legislation does not have a chance of passing in the Senate. They know it, so doing it anyway is all 100% about election politics, that is all.
