Soccer moms in Olathe Kansas are doing the same.

Never heard of Olathe. Can we assume that it's an upscale kind of place?

In Johnson County Kansas, one of wealthiest US counties with great schools. Olathe City council approved use of the building for a homeless shelter, then when the buyer closed the deal, the soccer moms got paranoid.

The answer here is simple, we just need a new law regarding vagrants and homeless:

All vagrants and Homeless persons shall be entitled to camp within 500 feet of ANY property owned, leased, rented or occupied by ANY Public Employee, Public Servant, Public Official or Judicial Officer anywhere in the State of California.

“homeless Navigation Center”

Someone deserves a gold star for that euphemism!

While visiting San Francisco years ago, I passed a man on Market Street with the most terrifyingly crazy eyes I’ve ever seen.
He was holding a 6 pack of beer.
One should never, ever make eye contact. They consider that threatening.
He proceeded to follow me, hurling full cans of beer at me.
I broke into a run. He chased me into a bookstore, yanking books off the shelves & throwing them around.
Two store clerks chased him out & locked the door, with me safe inside, until he wandered off.
They told me this was a regular occurance & cops couldn’t do anything.
They said the guy sometimes brandished a knife, but the cops never caught him doing that. So, supposedly he wasn’t a danger to anybody & couldn’t be locked up.

“Seems I can’t hardly go out to the stores and gas stations without someone hitting me up for some $$.”

Yes, and the bigger problem is that there are so many scammers out there such that those who truly do need help are less likely to get it.

I'm really tired of seeing young guys in their 20s hanging out at the end of the exit ramp with signs, looking for money.

“Hitler got rid of the heroin problem. And of course Hitler got rid of lots of other problems.”

Hitler?
You are bringing up positive attributes of Hitler?

Wrong website

I used to be enough of a challenge to walk around that area with the Hari Krishnas panhandling everywhere.

I learned after one visit to tell them Move the ‘F’ out of my way. I said it with enough force that they scattered.

Shouldn't they donate the $60,000 TO the homeless? Also, they have lots of space...shouldn't they open their houses to the unfortunate homeless? How heartless...how cruel...how cold...how uncaring. These LIBtards are such hypocritical nitwits.

I've got 70+ years expertise in San Fransh*tco politics, corruption and degeneracy, and you can be sure the "Homeless" "problem" has been entirely created and managed by the DemoRat Prog Socialist Rich Ruling Elite, and imposed upon the Middle Class Storekeepers and property owners in commercial, warehouse, club, entertainment, residential and low income areas.

The DemoRat Prog Socialist Rich Ruling Elite use the police to keep the bums in those areas and completely out of the Uber Wealthy mansions, they fine, fee and prosecute ordinary SF citizens that try to move the bums out of their doorways.

If Feinstein and Pelosi et all, had to put up with 'em for a day they'd all be moved to the middle of Nevada within a week.

Our disruptive homeless were culled by drunk college students who didn’t mind slapping them around.

What moron thought relocating them to the Embarcadero was a good idea.

Perhaps someone who, like in Navy Patriot's post adjacent to yours, advocating putting the "homeless" in the neighborhoods of the rich and famous to test their tolerance.

I couldn’t agree with you more. If only we could make you King. Something has to give. We’ll never fix this coup of our nation at the ballot box - even if we could, the voting system has been hi-jacked by the communist mob and it would never allow it. We’re so far down the rabbit hole I fear there is no peaceful way to solve it, and worse yet, not enough people with the balls to do anything about left to care. It’s only a matter of time.

P.S. I served in the Navy too way back when.
