Rich San Francisco residents in House Speaker Nancy Pelosis congressional district have collected more than $60,000 after starting an online crowdsourcing campaign to wage a legal challenge against a proposed center for the city's homeless.
The campaign, called Safe Embarcadero for All, was launched March 20 after San Francisco Mayor London Breed proposed a 200-bed homeless Navigation Center in the citys most desirable location, the Embarcadero along the coast of San Francisco Bay, earlier this month.
The planned location for Mayor Breed's #megashelter is home to thousands of families, visited by millions of tourists and at the center of some of San Francisco's most iconic events - including the San Francisco Marathon, San Francisco Giants stadium and on one of the busiest bicyclist paths in the city, reads the site posted by the group opposing the construction.

Tallahassee suffered for a long time with a homeless shelter downtown. The crime rate was horrendous. Finally, the businesses convinced the city to move it. They moved it to a heavily student area because students don’t vote. I know two university cops and they say the predation on students by the homeless, which never used to happen, is now a daily occurrence. Wherever they are, the homeless disrupt business and civic life. Calling them “homeless” is a nice misnomer. They are mentally ill people. Like a drowning man, they attempt to use and destroy any who attempt to help them.
I think wind farms and all the other dem schemes should be carried out near dem homes. Make them walk the walk.
It is a drug and crime problem.
Same for Seattle, Portland Oregon, Baltimore, Detroit, Camden NJ, and all the other places.
if it was simply a matter of money, I would contribute to a crowdsource for buying the property next to Nancy’s and moving the homeless there. I’d bet if that could happen with enough money - nationwide, they’d hit their goal in no time.
Seems I cant hardly go out to the stores and gas stations without someone hitting me up for some $$. Some even attach a dollar amount to their requests. Sick of it GTHOH. Get a job.
People who live in tents are not homeless. they are squatters
Bums are a problem in the so called Free World. Hitler got rid of the heroin problem. And of course Hitler got rid of lots of other problems. The more benefits are given to the bums, the more bums there will be. The answer appears to be to give as few benefits as possible and arrest and jail the bums to get them to leave the area as soon as they possibly can.
If I were King, the SF "Homeless" would be housed in tents on the front lawns of the SF Liberal Ruling Elite, and I wold take their front doors so the bums had bathroom access.
What moron thought relocating them to the Embarcadero was a good idea. Better to relocate them outside the gates of Pelosi's walled Napa Valley estate first.
I want some of that equality Nancy hordes for herself.
In case you’ve forgotten, the liberal elites like Piglosi have walls around their lawns.
World-Class hypocrisy - bump for later....
Not if I were King.
People seem to be appearing out of thin air to beg for a few bucks all over the place.
I go very few places and order just about everything just to avoid those people.
“NIMBY” doesn’t seem to quite cover the attitude here. We need a new word. Something combining “NIMBY” and “chutzpah.”
“I think wind farms and all the other dem schemes should be carried out near dem homes. Make them walk the walk.”
Place them along the California and Mass shorelines.
Among the many well known racists who opposed the school were Julia Child ("bon appetite",indeed) and Laurence Tribe (who never quite made it to SCOTUS).
It's fun reading...unless you have a full stomach.
Soccer moms in Olathe Kansas are doing the same.
If you wanna see the nation's "progressive" elite declare war....put them on Martha's Vineyard!
BWAHAHAHA!
