Things in DC are about to get ugly. Big ugly. Two MAGA freight trains are heading full-speed toward each other and there ain’t no spur between em’.
The conductor of one engine is HPSCI ranking member Devin Nunes who will be sending criminal referrals to AG Barr next week based on existing evidence and testimony. The conductor of the opposing engine is Senate Judiciary Chairman Lindsey Graham, who wants AG Barr to ignore the criminal referrals and instead launch another Special Counsel which will be guaranteed to carry into the 2020 election year.
Both are not backing down. Lindsey Graham had dinner tonight with AG Barr to pressure him for his side. Lindsey Graham also has the ear of the President…. Devin Nunes has no access to President Trump to give him advice to ignore Lindsey Graham. Whoever wins the influence battle will determine the 2020 election.

I hope it is a really big list.
Between Nunes and Graham, I choose Huber.
Nunes wants individual criminal referrals, Graham wants anoyher Special Counsel.
Gosh, I really hope rank and file republicans really come together now to assault our liberal enemies.
I also hope Santa Clause brings me a choo-choo for Christmas.
If I were to choose between the two, I would go with the special prosecutor option as they are investigative in nature an can uncover other crimes. However, It would have to be a non-swamp person. Someone with 24 hr security and the backbone to go after the Clinton crime family.
Barr could ignore both of them until after the IG reports.....................

Barr’s been pretty straightforward about this being a matter of law rather than political. One would think Barr would wait for the OIG’s (Horowitz) report and form a legal response from that document.
I imagine there are very few willing to go after the Clinton’s.

I'm not sure about that. Nunes has been the biggest Trump supporter in the House from the beginning and they have worked together on campaigns.
I wonder why both couldn't be pursued simultaneously?
My guess is that linda wants to delay this past the 2020 elections.
