BAGHOUZ, Syria -- The caliphate has crumbled, and the final offensive is over. While the official announcement hasnt yet been made Fox News has been told that this village, the last ISIS stronghold, is liberated.
Its the first time since weve been here in Syria for five days that the bombs have stopped dropping and the gunfire has disappeared. We have witnessed the end of the caliphate the brutal empire that once ruled over 8 million people is gone.
Troops here are now bringing down the black flags of ISIS. The flags no longer fly over the town, instilling fear.

Darn no B-52s
What is the actual source of this graph? Does anyone know that?
The irony!
Bill Clinton: “It depends on what ISIS.”
Obama (smugly, to U.S. on behalf of ISIS): “You didn’t build that.” (lie)
U.S. to Obama: “You didn’t destroy that (ISIS).” (truth)
Fighting over. Refugees should be able to go back home now, eh?
But Obama told everyone it would take generations to take them out. This just shows you what a loser Obama was compared to a real president DJT.
That’s all well and good but how about stopping them in the USA?
This is a major milestone, and very much needed, but it won’t end the conflict.
Islamist radicals recruited, brainwashed and trained so many (during the Obama Administration), that by the numbers, the situation is still worse than it was before ISIS emerged in 2014. The Syrian Kurds have about 75,000 in detention - mostly deeply committed cultists.
ISIS already has an active insurgency operating in the liberated areas of Iraq and Syria (daily attacks), and almost all of their top leadership escaped. They have been preparing for over two years to revert to an underground terrorist guerrilla movement, after it became clear that the West had the will to fight them with conventional Military.
The State support from Turkey and Qatar needs to be cut off (Saudi Arabia seems to be much less part of the problem anymore), and the ideology still needs to be refuted.
Turkey is still nurturing these jihadis, and they will have a home and a job from Turkey in Idlib or Afrin in Northern Syria, as long as they take orders from the Turks.
Iran has achieved a strategic objective of opening a ground supply route to the Israeli border, and through Lebanon, to the Mediterranean Sea. They have recruited and trained large local militias in Iraq and Syria, to eventually take control of those countries, as they did in Lebanon with Hizbollah.
The fighting has been over in Somalia for much longer.
Good news. But where there is Islam, particularly when non-Muslims are nearby, terrorism is never over.
Exhibits A-Z: Nigeria, Thailand, Philippines, Egypt, Israel, India, Kenya, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Russia, USA, etc, etc etc...
For some reason I really want to see the videos of their demise. Call it war porn or just to satiate my wanton desire to know all Soetero’s bloody legacy, all of his “ISIL” BS is dust in the wind...for now anyway. It’s all moved to Yemen.
Trumped again.
Another feather to stick in his cap and the MSM will not know how to spin it.
Now hunt down and kill all of them left alive.
Innocent, piece-loving devout Muslim community destroyed, just like in New Zealand./s
Obama softened them up. All Trump did was deliver the coup de grace and claim credit./s
too many were let go...they’ll be backed called something else.
Leave none alive.
Will they all get visas to come to the US?
Didn’t McCain contribute to that cause also??? Oh no, I should not mention the dead.
Fact Check: Trump did NOT liquidate ISIS; some ran away, cut their beards, are hiding out, on the run, hoping to regroup. We can only hope they come through ok... /s (I hate to use sarc check but thought I’d get killededed daid many times over if I didn’t).
