Beto O'Rourke raised $6.1 million in the first 24 hours of his presidential campaign, his campaign said Monday, in what amounts to the largest announced first-day haul of any 2020 Democratic contender to date.
The former Texas congressman raised $6,136,763 in online donations from all 50 states in the first day, his campaign said. That tops the $5.9 million one-day total Sen. Bernie Sanders announced after he launched his campaign. The closest other 2020 Democratic candidate to publicize their first-day fundraising total was California Sen. Kamala Harris at $1.5 million.

O’Rourke got his start on the path to politics as a member of the Cult of the Dead Cow (CDC) during the 1980s.
The Cult financed its activities by pirating software, pilfering long-distance phone service and credit card fraud.
The Cult’s web site contained a warning saying: “This site may contain explicit descriptions of or advocate one or more of the following: adultery, murder, morbid violence, bad grammar, deviant sexual conduct in violent contexts, or the consumption of alcohol and illegal drugs.”
O’Rourke used the pilfered services to post what he called “imaginative fiction” using the pen name “Psychedelic Warlord.” One of his stories featured a driver who intentionally killed two children because “they were happy. This happiness was mine by right.”
Those Kennedy boys had a lot of liasons over the years.

This is so FISHY! He refused to disclose the amount he received originally and people were speculating that he didn’t have any support, now SUDDENLY he raised this huge amount in the first day. It must have come from his BILLIONAIRE father in law for propaganda purposes. I am sure that there is a quid pro quo there...

Raising all this money is a good thing for him. What he doesn’t end up spending on his destined-to-fail campaign he can use to get the mental health treatments he so desperately and obviously needs.
