Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris said Thursday that there should be a federal moratorium on executions.
The senator from California discussed the matter on National Public Radio, a day after Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom of California granted reprieves to 737 death row inmates and signed an executive order placing a moratorium on executions.
Harris was asked if there should be “a federal equivalent” to Newsom’s order.
She said, “Yes, I think that there should be.” […]

Just the other day, new Governor of California, Gavin Newsome called for a moratorium on death row prisoners being put to death.
Not to be outdone, Kamala comes out with this nationwide proposal just two days later. She must remember, she is running for president of the entire country. She no longer has to compete with Gavin for attention or acclaim.
Those two have had a long running professional feud
going back to when Kam was the Atty. General. A position Gavin had expected to get.

Is there a death row in any federal prison? I always had the impression that executions were up to the states.
Obviously she does not want anyone who might be convicted of High TREASON against the current POTUS to be given a lawful sentence.
If I had her track record of deliberately railroading innocent defendants into prison terms to appear tough on crime for election season, I’d be worried about putting innocent men to death too.
Is that before or after they kill Manafort?

Why stop at executions?
People die every day from murderers and killers and terrorism and physical abuse and ABORTIONS.
Stop all deaths. Except for those that come naturally and accidentally. Heck, stop even the accidental ones that come from traffic accidents and falls.
What percentage of deaths come as a result of executions? Somebody should ask Kamala that simple question. And, why are people in death row more important than those aborted who never committed any crimes?
Furthermore, she lies regarding personal wealth and ability to afford a worldclass defense.
If you can’t afford an attorney, one will be appointed for you...or did she forget that part?
I personally know 2 who are incarated at Terra Haute on death row who each received a very pricey, worldclass defence on the tax payer’s dime. AND, one of the liberal judges at the Supreme Court upheld their death penalty convictions!
