A House vote on a resolution condemning anti-Semitism, following recent comments by U.S. Rep Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., has been delayed, as Democrats scramble to rewrite the motion to include all forms of prejudice and progressives like Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez come to the defense of their embattled colleague.
The declaration – which doesn’t mention Omar by name – was initially set to be introduced Wednesday. It was to set out the history of anti-Semitism and other bigotry in America and provide examples of anti-Jewish tropes about divided loyalties.
It was also supposed to say the House “rejects anti-Semitism as hateful expressions of intolerance that are contradictory to the values that define the people of the United States.”
The resolution effort came after Omar – for at least the second time in recent months – ignited an uproar for echoing anti-Semitic tropes.
In February, she suggested on Twitter that supporters of Israel have been bought, and that the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) contributes to pro-Israel politicians despite the fact that the group does not make campaign contributions. The congresswoman then accused American supporters of Israel of pushing people to have “allegiance to a foreign country.”

I’ll admit I am more than a little surprised at the fear the old guard seems to be showing for the freshman congresscritters. These people have no power but what the MSM gives them. Why have they not been put in their place like others have been? If “Madam Speaker” is so all-powerful, how does AOC end up all over the news every night? A powerful speaker would see to it these uppity beotces were sequestered in a room counting dust bunnies. Apparently “Madam Speaker” ain’t all she thinks she is.

It seems that today’s crop of Democrats rely on notoriety to set themselves apart from their rivals. That means, of course, being more radical/extreme than your opponent. We have gone way beyond identity politics; it has now morphed into politics of hatred and destruction. That becomes their platform.
We need to welcomeourjewish brothers and sisters into the conservative tent. Maybe this will finally open their eyes
first, infanticide, next, choice of mohammedans over Jews, then, hatred of Jews, then, gas chambers & ovens.

If the Republicans have the balls to bring it up again. Their reluctance to beat Democrats about the head and shoulders with their own words is so damned frustrating. And when they do find the testicular fortitude to bring it up, they’ll find a reason to apologize for doing so.
How many times did you see or hear Obama’s statement of having visited “all 57 states” brought up in any context. They’re afraid of being called racist, Islamophobe, homophobe, anti-(fill in the blank), not accepting the fact that it’s going to happen no matter what they do or don’t say.

Trump may get re-elected but no way it is a landslide. The demographics and culture in this country have changed in very profound ways. If he wins, it will be a narrow victory in my humble opinion.
Yes, by all rights he should be easily elected based on his accomplishments but that is not what many people care about. They want government to take care of them, absolve them of any personal responsibility, and provide lots of things for “free” at the expense of others. That is where we are today. That is what a significant portion of the population wants.
The resolution is simply BS optics for the Jewish vote. The only question is will it work. The Rats get 70-80% of the Jewish vote. This despite the fact the Rats have embraced the muzzies.
In the past the Jews seem to fear evangelical Christians which is crazy. No one is more supportive of Jews then them but it shows the effectiveness of MSM propaganda especially Hollywood.
