At a moment when the country has never seemed angrier, two political commentators from opposite sides of the divide concurred last week on one point, nearly unthinkable until recently: The country is on the verge of "civil war."
First came former U.S. attorney Joseph diGenova, a Fox News regular and ally of President Trump. "We are in a civil war," he said. "The suggestion that there's ever going to be civil discourse in this country for the foreseeable future is over. . . . It's going to be total war."
The next day, Nicolle Wallace, a former Republican operative turned MSNBC commentator and Trump critic, played a clip of diGenova's commentary on her show and agreed with him - although she placed the blame squarely on the president.
Trump, she said, "greenlit a war in this country around race. And if you think about the most dangerous thing he's done, that might be it."
With the report by special counsel Robert Mueller reportedly nearly complete, impeachment talk in the air and the 2020 presidential election ramping up, fears that once existed only in fiction or the fevered dreams of conspiracy theorists have become a regular part of the political debate. These days, there's talk of violence, mayhem and, increasingly, civil war.
A tumultuous couple of weeks in American politics seem to have raised the rhetorical flourishes to a new level and also brought a troubling question to the surface: At what point does all the alarmist talk of civil war actually increase the prospect of violence, riots or domestic terrorism?
Speaking to conservative pundit Laura Ingraham, diGenova summed up his best advice to friends: "I vote, and I buy guns. And that's what you should do."

One thing this dunce should well remember. A large chunk of the populace put Trump in power. WE “greenlit” action taken to save this nation AS A NATION. The enemy does not think we should be a sovereign nation governed by rule-of-law. Some on the Left really are stupid enough to think it’s about race, but many of them know it’s about nationalism (culture, language, borders, etc.). If they wanna go to war against their own countrymen (who actually believe in having a country), then let them.
Nicolle may be right about a “war in this country around race” being “greenlit”. She’s just mistaken about which president is responsible.

The War Between the States wasn’t actually a civil war.
They are doing that to justify the violence the left is about to instigate. No other reason.
The media is supplying the war. They are the enemy of the people.
What she means is that he indirectly empowered whites to fight back against the destruction of their society - and nobody was ever supposed to even hint at that as a possibilty.

Th left has been executing a low level war against the United States for a long time. When it started is up to debate but I say it started in earnest in 1965 with the passing of the immigration act that allowed for the enemies of the US to be first in line to immigrate into the US. They have since been eroding the US from within for 50+ years.
Since 1994 with the Newt Gingrich contract with America, conservatives have started to fight back and the election of Donald Trump is another reminder that we will not go quietly. The fights are now turning to physical altercations and murder (like the attempted murder in the Republican Congressman by a leftist with a rifle).
The war will continue to intensify which means the government will respond with brut force in an attempt to stop the complete dissolution of the Union. It will be a repeat of when Lincoln invaded the south and executed the ‘war of northern aggression’. However, there will be no distinct battle lines so the entire US will have to be put under martial law.
Should be a fun time to be alive.

Back around late 1968 or 1969, a group of “professors” at some university demanded SCOPES be banned from rifles, as several killings(JFK, MLK, Medgar Evers, The Texas Tower) had taken place with scoped rifles.
This was soon after Bobby Kennedy had been murdered with a handgun.
The only scenario I can think about is the engagement of a foreign enemy on the global theater.
From there, we’ll need to take major abuse from that war in order for an active civil war to take place on US soil.
So we’ll need to be engaged elsewhere, start taking bombings on US soil, for there to be an active CW.
Because we’ll never do it. They’ll have to start the process and I only see a handful of them arming up and saying they’ll start something.
there are plenty of Antifa videos of members carrying rifles and guns and threatening people at protests. Those who have armed themselves on the left appear to be fully prepared to use them against innocent civilians.
But what then ? We march and have people kicked out of the country ? Jailed ? There really is no easy answer.
They focus on the AR15 because of it’s symbolism. It’s the official symbol of Americans who aren’t going to be controlled.
So they need to get rid of the symbol. The actual gun doesn’t matter, and never did.
Which is code for “proved Republicans don’t have to cave every time democrats accuse, to win elections.
