Special counsel Robert Mueller's team has interviewed White House press secretary Sarah Sanders, she told CNN on Friday.
"The President urged me, like he has everyone in the administration, to fully cooperate with the special counsel. I was happy to voluntarily sit down with them," Sanders said in response to a question from CNN.
The interview is one of the final known interviews by Mueller's team. It came around the same time as the special counsel interviewed former White House chief of staff John Kelly, well after a number of other senior officials, including former White House communications director Hope Hicks and former press secretary Sean Spicer, were brought in for questioning.
The White House did not immediately agree to grant the special counsel an interview with Sanders, according to one of the sources. Similarly, as CNN reported in December, White House lawyers initially objected to Mueller's request to interview Kelly, who ultimately responded to a narrow set of questions from special counsel investigators.
While the substance of the interview with Sanders is unclear, one likely area of interest was how Sanders composed statements she made on the podium defending the President regarding the Russia investigation.

Everyone went hysterical about the McCabe 25th Amend attempted coup. Mueller is running the real coup and it’s looking more and more like there’s no one left to stop him.
I wish someone of these targets would tell them to GFY, and if they don’t understand that, put it in the long form version. This has gone so far from realism to be in the esters of space. She was not part of the campaign apparatus as far as I can recall so what is their agenda besides just laying another trap for someone the media does not like. Who is next, Trump’s grand son?? I’ve read that Swamp Creature Mueller has questioned the President’s podiatrist as well.

I look forward to it, hope he puts me next on the list but gives me enough time to find out if I can make a citizen’s arrest of him for sedition.
To Trump’s credit, his administration has been fully cooperative with the special counsel. The White House and the Trump organization have voluntarily turned over all documents requested by the special counsel. Everyone at the White House, except for Trump himself, who has been requested to be interviewed has voluntarily been interviewed. The same goes with the House and Senate investigation committees — full cooperation.
Compare to the normal situation with the Clintons or the Obamas. Refusal to testify, dragging feet on complying with subpoenas, refusing to provide documents, claiming documents or emails don’t exist when they actually do. Destroying emails, tape recordings, documents and other evidence.
Has the media pointed out the difference? No. Do Republican leaders draw the contrast in public statements? No.
And Schiff will keep resetting the clock via referrals. Forever.

That’s because his legal team and advisors failed to see what the corrupt state was doing(Carrying out a coup). IOWs, they’re complete farking MORONS or were complicit(Dowd, McGahn, Cobb, etc).
Sessions, Rotten Rod, and Mueller should’ve been fired the moment they launched the coup, then arrested and sent to gitmo.
