We should be a little more careful than this lest we be pointed out as saying that poor people are only qualified to be janitors (class system stereotyping).
I understand. My point was that anyone in NYC who isn’t employed today either: (1) doesn’t want to work, (2) is unable to work, or (3) is only capable of working a menial job that may not be in high demand. I don’t think there are too many poor, unemployed lawyers and CPAs in AOC’s district.
