FULL HEADER: Trump's approval rating among likely voters soars to his best in 23 MONTHS at 52 per cent after State of the Union address as border-wall shutdown talks intensify
Donald Trump's job approval rating among likely U.S. voters hit 52 per cent on Monday in a daily tracking poll conducted by Rasmussen Reports, the polling organization he uses most frequently to promote himself.
That number is his highest since March 6, 2017, less than seven weeks after he took office. It has been even longer since Trump's 'strongly approve' and 'strongly disapprove' numbers weren't under water. They were even at 39 per cent on Monday.
Overall, 47 per cent of likely voters disapprove of Trump's Oval Office performance. That's a low water mark since November 2, 2018.
Asked what Monday's numbers mean, a senior Democratic House aide confided on background: 'I don't know yet if it's horrible, but it sure isn't good.'

To the democratic house aide------ Uh, yeah, it is GOOD.
I will feel a lot better when it is at 58%.
Meanwhle, the reaction from the Democrats: crickets
The President’s 3 week break from the shutdown in exchange for the SOTU was a ‘4-D’ chess move !!!
Trumps has a welded bond with millions of his American supporters, it’s historic and has not seen in modern American history. Youd have to dial back to the founders to see this type of relationship between a leader and the people.
Demonrats heads exploding....they just need to promote the green dream scheme more effectively.....
He won. His approval rating is high. He still gets no support from his own party in Congress, whose approval numbers are not so great. Nobody asked for prison reform. We got that. Lots of people want a wall. We can’t have that. The GOP despises its own base and covets the Democrat base.

What about the doom-and-gloom clique here on FR? Crickets from them too?
We are not their base. We support patriotic conservatives.
I wouldn’t call myself part of the “doom and gloom clique,” but I question the accuracy of any “likely voter” screen more than 2 years out from an election. Rasmussen’s poll has certainly been a start outlier compared to the other approval polls.
And that’s with at least 90% negative propaganda.
Surprised the header wasn’t: “Majority of likely voters disapprove of PDJT job with a rating of 48% and only 52% approve.” To the msm and demolibs, that’s a majority.
This is on Drudge now:
POP ONSLAUGHT: 33 TV Shows Slam Trump in Month...
The left is so blinded with pure hatred they forget or don’t care that a majority of Americans still despise seeing someone treated unfairly. It tends to make us rally towards that person, including many who might not have cared otherwise.
They are partly responsible for his increasing approval. We love an underdog.
Well that is good news. You wouldn’t know that by listening to the MSM. I quit listening several years back.
Did you know the following facts:
1. The main polling companies changed NOTHING in their disastrous methods of 2016. The methodology, party numbers, landlines versus cell, etc. Not a thing has changed.
2. Only Rasmussen polls a daily tracking poll at this time.
3. Rasmussen calls itself most accurate pollster of 2016: https://thehill.com/media/306721-rasmussen-calls-itself-most-accurate-pollster-of-2016
Me too.
It means that Democrats will conclude that they must stand firm on denying wall funding and immigration control in order to drive Trump's numbers down by denying him his signature win.
They will actually drive his poll numbers even higher.
