House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff on Sunday said he doesn’t think his decision to restart and expand the Russian-meddling investigation conflicts with special counsel Robert Mueller’s ongoing probe.
“We have a separate and an independent and important responsibility and that is to tell the country what happened. Mueller, ultimately, his job is to determine who broke the law, and who should go to jail,” Mr. Schiff told NBC’s Meet the Press.
The California Democrat also said Mr. Trump’s pick for attorney general, William Barr, hasn’t given enough assurance that Mr. Mueller’s evidence of potential wrongdoing will be disclosed to the public.
“So we need to find it ourselves,” he said.
Mr. Schiff says Republicans who controlled the last Congress led a toothless investigation into the 2016 race and what role, if any, the Trump campaign played in Russian involvement.
He announced a new investigation last week that will relaunch the probe, yet also look into whether or not the president, his children, or any of his businesses were compromised by foreign agents.

Shiff and Mueller have the identical mission: to remove Mr. Trump from office. The difference is that Shiff is a fool and Meuller and his No. 2, Andrew Weismann know what they are doing. Shiff is no threat, the Special Counsel is a very big threat.
Serious question: Can Trump personally hire and attorney/private investigator to delve into Schitt's life?

Over two years of an investigation by a professional, Mr. Robert Mueller, and nothing to show, and now Adam Schiff is going to step in like a gradeschool child and try to discover something? What a jerk!
Ok, several people here, get ready to disagree with me*, but....
American people, you thought you were so smart and so clever by bringing the “divided government” you desired to fruition by voting for a Dem run House. Including “suburban white women who hate Trump.” Now we have you to hate for Pelosi,Schiff,Maxine, Al Green, AOC and the rest in the garbage dumpster but now picked up with rubber gloves to be “leaders” of Congress. How rotten, disgusting and loathsome you American people are.
By the way, if millions of people disagree that running a duly elected American President out of office by a coup due to spite and small minded prejudice on the part of Dems is okay, then you may soon get a REALLY divided America, the most since the 1860s. The reprehensible tilt toward wide open killing of babies not only by abortion murder but by infanticide after being born may hasten the division.

*P.S. The disagreements will be that vote fraud, vote harvesting and cemetery dweller voters along with hordes of illegals with driver’s license voter cards voted in the Dems. Maybe true.
I just want to make sure I heard this correctly. Schiff and basically all Congressional Democrats are very concerned about any criticism of Mueller by anyone in the administration and anyone nominated to join the administration. But Schiff just implicitly criticized Mueller for not being sufficiently comprehensive in the areas he investigates? Oh. OK.

What, praytell, is the legal basis for the House to investigate anyone in or out of government who has not been accused of a specific crime? This is nothing more than a fishing investigation to prolong the facade since Mueller’s investigation has come up empty and the Donks need to maintain the outrage momentum among their base for 2020.
