Five million Latin Americans plan to migrate to the United States in the next 12 months, and an estimated 42 million more say they want to enter the country.
Those statistics were in a report from Jim Clifton, the chairman and CEO at Gallup:
Forty-two million seekers of citizenship or asylum are watching to determine exactly when and how is the best time to make the move. This suggests that open borders could potentially attract 42 million Latin Americans. A full 5 million who are planning to move in the next 12 months say they are moving to the U.S.
The poll came as Democrats began using their new political clout to try to widen the catch-and-release loopholes in President Donald Trump’s border defenses.

It’s an invasion, clear and simple. Too many don’t want to assimilate, and feel that the US is theirs. It’s a message that is propagated to them - that America belongs to them and they are just rightfully taking it back. That’s what is behind Ocasio-Cortez’s pathetic drivel about how ‘Latinos and Hispanics’ can’t ever be ‘illegals’, because America is their land to begin with.
It’s no less aggressive than Muslims who want to force Sharia Law in the US.
I welcome anyone who comes here legally wanting to truly become an American, assimilate into our culture, and contribute. However, allowing rapid demographic shifts fueled by people who don’t want to assimilate, actually want to ‘transform’ America, and who feel entitled, is suicide - whether they are legal or illegal.
Instead? Do you think inviting H-1Bs will keep the 42 million illegals out?

OK, so explain to me how you would appeal to them? Offer them free education, free healthcare, free food, free shelter? Because that’s what the Democrats are offering.
We will never be able to outpander the Democrats. They will always be willing to give bigger hand outs. Many of these immigrants coming in believe in socialism. The Republican party does not. And if the GOP starts to believe in it, then the party will lose my vote.

I highly doubt H1-B’s don’t require any sort of welfare. Many bring in their spouse or families and likely suck up govt monies in one way or other.

The error you are making is assuming that we need any foreign workers at all.
