Northam also sent out a campaign mailer tying both President Donald Trump, and opponent Ed Gillespie, to white nationalists, then on-the-prowl in Charlottesville, Va.

Later, a pro-Northam group ran a filthy ad labeling Gillespie as a "genocidal white supremacist" featuring kids of color trying to escape
a pick-up waving a confederate flag. Northam dutifully reported the ad as an "in-kind" donation to his campaign.

Not to be outdone, then-governor, Terry McAuliffe, accused Gillespie of having run the "most racist" campaign in Virginia history.
McAuliffe actually took Democrap slime politics to new depths of depravity, suggesting Gillespie's campaign was more racist
than the long-dead secessionist movement, and that Gillespie supported slavery, segregation, and opposition to interracial marriage.
