Oh, what a tangled web we weave…
Jussie Smollett is in the hot seat after there have been several reports that the openly gay actor may have possibly filed a false report to police. If that’s the case, the Chicago Police Department promises to charge Smollett for making a false police report in regards to the alleged hate crime perpetrated against him on January 29th.
The investigation is still ongoing, but with the Empire actor refusing to hand his phone over to authorities, the 36-year old actor will have a hard time proving his case and avoiding jail time as his alleged assailants have managed to do.
In the meantime, Chicago PD Superintendent Eddie Johnson vehemently states on social media that if Smollett is found to not be telling the truth he will be charged.

Ha! The key word there is “if”. This “crime” is going to remain an open case forever. It will officially go down as a great, unsolved mystery. Like what happened to Jimmy Hoffa.
Tell me about it. There’s about as much of a chance of him being charged as Hillary being locked up in the next 3 minutes. No doubt the top Rats running that sewer will pressure the top brass to bury it, and then it will be forgotten about only to be dusted off every now and then as “proof” that Trump supporters are racist.

There must be no exceptions. Lying and creating a hoax must be punished with the same penalty that an innocent person would have paid. No one must be exempt. There is almost NEVER a charge. Never a hate crime charge. Talk of it is designed to appease the public.
Bottom line: if you’re a protected minority, you are free to accuse innocent people and destroy them. You have the power.
Remember, this is the same bunch that never closed the St. Valentines Day Massacre. It'll be 90 years, next week.
He doesn’t have to prove his case. They have to prove the case. That’s the way it works. He shouldn’t turn over his social media/phone etc under any circumstance guilty or not. Now, if he faked it or filed a false report they should prosecute, but cannot compel him to be a witness against himself.
Yup; they really :apply the law’ in Chicago, especially to the ‘protected’ multi-classed folks. Probably will waive the fine and probation.
I’ve got a question about this.
When I first heard about this, I, like a lot of others, thought that the inclusion of “MAGA hats”, which later became just “MAGA country”, made it seem more likely to be a hoax. I haven’t read anything about it yet to change my mind, except something is bugging me. The rope.
Where did he get it? Did he leave his apartment with it? Isn’t he on video before the 60 second gap where the alleged attack took place and is the rope anywhere to be seen?
I’m sure he could have put it in a pocket on his way out but why? I doubt this, if a hoax, was a premeditated one. In other words, I doubt that he’d leave his apartment with the rope and a plan of using it as a prop for this hoax. Unless he had another reason for taking a rope with him when leaving the apartment.
Any ideas?
