She joins a long list of others in this country whose eyes/minds are closed to the realities of socialism. Sanders wants everyone to have access to healthcare - they already do IN OUR COUNTRY but he needs to make a trip to Venezuela to see how they’re faring in that area. Why don’t they schedule one of those diplomatic trips to Venezuela?

Whenever one of the many failures of Socialism is brought up, the socialists’ retort is always that “real” socialism hasn’t been tried.
Instead of letting that retort stand, we should challenge the socialist: Why hasn’t “real” socialism ever been tried? Surely, there has never been a lack of utopian idealists to implement it, so why have they failed, every time?
Maybe it’s not only because, as pointed out in the article, no one has the knowledge to successfully micromanage millions of people, but also because absolute power corrupts absolutely. To the Socialist dictator, nothing affirms his sense of godhood than living a life of unequaled luxury while the masses struggle to survive.
I know this is going to piss off some people around here, but social security is socialism.
If we really believed in our capitalisic system, anybody under the age of 50 should be told they are not getting social security.
