Stacey Abrams, former Democratic candidate for governor in Georgia, delivered the Democratic response to President Donald Trump's State of the Union on Tuesday. In that speech, she repeated the fake news that Trump's administration put kids in cages.
"This administration chooses to cage children and tear families apart," Abrams declared.
The viral photo of a child in a cage did not come from Trump's immigration policy, however. The photo came from a protest against the Trump administration. Other photos came from 2014, during the Obama administration.
In May, Trump tweeted, "Democrats mistakenly tweet 2014 pictures from Obama’s term showing children from the Border in steel cages. They thought it was recent pictures in order to make us look bad, but backfires. Dems must agree to Wall and new Border Protection for good of country...Bipartisan Bill!"
PolitiFact rated his statement "True."

She started off with her smiling sweet, semi-sincere prelude, and I was prepared to listen to her whole schpiel; until she switched to lying about our POTUS and his efforts to protect our Nation. After switching her OFF, I decided that if she’d lie about Trump, her entire talk was lies! And no surprise; she’s a democRAT!
Worst speech I ever listened to, my ears started to bleed. Why did she let her father walk 30 miles in the rain? If her father walks 7 minute miles that’s 210 minutes each way. So he walked 6 hours a day. Guess he was in great cardio shape.

Up until Abrams I thought Donna Brazil was the most angry, chip on the shoulder, you owe me and bigoted black woman I had ever seen before. Donna is tame compared to this piece of work.
