“Federal employees are demonized by Congress and industry and the public. It’s just not a good place to be,” he says.
Excellent news. Dysfunctional, demoralized and inefficient government employees that hate conservatives are better than energized and ruthless employees that hate conservatives.
Another shutdown please.
Good. Just don't fill those positions, then.
Weaponized victimhood.

There is not a line for the border patrol. I am always suprised that more people dont apply for federal jobs. A lot of people dont qualify, dont want to move or are just to lazy to create a resume and get online to apply.
One of the problems we have in this country is that people are not motivated enough to move to a new location for a job. We see Mexicans do it all the time yet Americans dont seem willing to do it.
Obviously that is easier said than done. Most wont quit because of the retirement while it is not great it is better than no retirement.
If they dont want to quit then they should stop their bitching.
They used to be called Public Servants. Now the whiners are just Unionized Thugs.
I would not call most federal jobs a job to die for. Yes federal workers enjoy many benefits including job security that most dont have, but for the most part it is a miserable place to work.
If a person is motivated and or competitive it is depressing working for the government. I would say the reason most people stay is because they dont want to lose the retirement. Essentially most federal workers are trading job satisfaction for retirement. I often wonder if it is really worth it.
I dont disagree with you. I dont like my job as I find it to be mindless and boring. However I would not complain in the news about it since I realize that i have a much better situation than most in the private sector. I spent enough time in the private sector to realize that it can always be worse.
“Yes federal workers enjoy many benefits including job security that most dont have, but for the most part it is a miserable place to work.”
Tell me about it. Even though I was extremely lucky with supervisors, etc I retired at pretty much the earliest date I could. And yes, retirement was always the goal.
When things sucked where I worked we would bitch and grumble amongst ourselves.
CNN didnt stick a microphone in my face so I could trash the CEO.
“The Federal Government is not an employment agency”

No it isn’t. It is a stealthed subsidiary welfare program.
I have never understood why government workers or politicians are called public servants the last time I checked we get paid. Nothing makes me more angry then to see a politician act as if they spent their life as a public servant. I have heard hillary clinton called a public servant so many times that it makes me sick.
The problem is most Politicians are also Lawyers.
At least it makes the decision easier. You don’t have to figure out which ones to hang first.
Now, when it comes to Journalists and Politicians...
We have several relatives who are government contractors. I can bring up several issues going on at once.
1. Those ordered to work without pay are mad, though they get back pay.
2. The government contractors on unpaid vacation are glad they didn’t work without pay but don’t get pay.
3. The unessential government workers getting back pay but didn’t have to work are hated by the first two groups.
I. DONT. CARE.
Yes, we must find a way to continue to blame Trump for something, anything.
Somebody making crap up....been through a number of them as active duty and as a civilian...we mainly made jokes about it...and if any of our folks were truly hurting, we took care of them.
