Does he really have a broken rib? I broke a rib about 5 weeks ago, and for the first 3 weeks I had trouble taking a deep breath, walking any distance, twisting, rolling over in bed, etc. It was excruciating!

This guy has a concert scheduled February 2. I can't imagine singing just a week after I broke my rib. Let's see how he acts in his concert.

So far, two early details of the assault seem to have been abandoned, i.e., that the attackers wore MAGA hats, and that Smollett had a broken rib or ribs. This has morphed to the attackers shouting “This is MAGA country,” and Smollett merely has “scratches” and “abrasions.” It seems that these injuries could easily have been faked, or caused by something else, like slipping on the ice or being attacked by a gay lover or prostitute.
