You're right in that the story doesn't really get into the salacious stuff that's well known about Brown and Kamala (and which is implied in the headline). But her rep in California (or so I have read) is that she is as opportunistic as they come and twice as ruthless.

As to the American Thinker, I have definitely noticed a little slippage lately as to editorial quality. I chalk that up to the general decline of editorial quality in American political writing. This decline is apparently due to the fact that editors (i.e., "real" editors) and proofreaders are no longer employed by online publications (if they ever were).

That's funny given that Monica Showalter (who by my estimation is a very good writer) holds the title of Deputy Editor at American Thinker.

As an aside, I think online publications are run on shoestring budgets.
