New calculations show scientists have grossly underestimated the effects of air pollution
Date: January 22, 2019 Source: The Hebrew University of Jerusalem Summary: New research shows that the degree to which aerosols cool the earth has been grossly underestimated, necessitating a recalculation of climate change models to more accurately predict the pace of global warming.
For a while now, the scientific community has known that global warming is caused by humanmade emissions in the form of greenhouse gases and global cooling by air pollution in the form of aerosols.
However, new research published in Science by Hebrew University of Jerusalem Professor Daniel Rosenfeld shows that the degree to which aerosols cool the earth has been grossly underestimated, necessitating a recalculation of climate change models to more accurately predict the pace of global warming.
Aerosols are tiny particles that float in the air. They can form naturally (e.g., desert dust) or artificially (e.g., smoke from coal, car exhaust). Aerosols cool our environment by enhancing cloud cover that reflect the sunlight (heat) back to space.

What happened to settled science?
Since the numbers don’t line up, they have the next best thing. A little lab with actual rotating planets and a big bright Sun. And, they have a pollution machine, a wind tunnel, and some little ant colonies to simulate a billion people..
When the whole thing is working, it shows conclusively that Al Gore was right on the money: the Earth has a fever.
When your computer models fail, then add another variable you did not include before!
According to the “scientific consensus,” we could all freeze to death in the dark, if we didn’t starve first, and it wouldn’t do squat to prevent catastrophic “climate change.”
So why do anything different? I’m going to die from something - “My desire is to depart and be with Christ, for that is far better.” - so why not “climate”?

How could they have been wrong if the science is settled and all that? There’s supposed to be no more debate, no more sciency stuff because all that earlier sciency stuff can never be questioned?

Didn’t you read 1984? It’s called double speak. Where you turn words with contradiction reversing their meaning. Examples: Up down. Quietly load. Cold heat.
So I guess we are polluting the air in just the right amounts to strike a balance that keeps everything fine. That or these idiots don't know what their talking about.
