President Trump says there is no time to waste on jump starting border security talks.
Saturday on Twitter the president said "21 days goes very quickly, and negotiations with Democrats will start immediately."
He added it "will not be easy to make a deal, with both parties very dug in."
He then said "the case for national security has been greatly enhanced by what has been happening at the border and through dialogue, we will build the wall!"
The president’s message comes after a historic 35-day government shutdown came to an end Friday night, after Democrats agreed to continue border security talks, and come to a deal within the next three weeks.
21 days goes very quickly. Negotiations with Democrats will start immediately. Will not be easy to make a deal, both parties very dug in. The case for National Security has been greatly enhanced by what has been happening at the Border & through dialogue. We will build the Wall!

I predict that the Democrats will use every stalling tactic in their arsenal, then offer the President far less than the meager $5.7 billion he’s asking for.
They are going to force him to declare a state of emergency and go it alone on building the wall.
Ultimately, they hope to stop him in the courts, as they will surely file multiple lawsuits within minutes of him declaring the emergency.
Sadly, they’re misreading the country on this. Stopping the President from executing his most important job (under the Constitution), will only cause the people to seek other means of redress.
Once that fuse is lit, no power on the face of the earth will be able to put it out.
Heck, will he even get to do the SOTU?
Negotiations with the Soviet Union were more collegial & productive than negotiating with Demon Rats.
It’s a waste of time.
Build the Wall with funds already appropriated for national defense.
Just get the wall built, could care less about the SOTU..for what, to be in front of Congress who hate his guts, who will boo him and spit on him, what’s the point of that, just get the wall built and have a rally it will be enough

First, you have your FReepers, Patriots that want to live in a FRee country and are praying for president Trump on a regular basis. They know he is one man, and has almost an entire elitist congress on both sides of the aisle looking to thwart him with the help of the liberal courts. I’m proud to be a FReeper and will end my days as such.
Then you have your FLeepers. When it gets too hot in the kitchen they FLee to their corners and throw stones at the only man to make a stand for this country since maybe Ronald Reagan. If I was advising the resident I’d suggest...vigorously...that “negotiations” would only serve the purposes of Rat Party Headquarters.I’d further suggest to him that he carefully explore his Constitutional authority to start the wall without a bill from Congress.
