“You don’t really know the Donald Trump I know.”
Many right-wing figures lined up Friday night to criticize President Donald Trump for temporarily ending the government shutdown for three weeks without having convinced Congress to fund his proposed U.S.-Mexico border wall.
Controversial commentator Ann Coulter called Trump “the biggest wimp ever to serve as president” and Fox Business host Lou Dobbs said Trump had been “whipped” by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.).
Fox News’ Sean Hannity, however, had a different take.
The “Hannity” host, who is a staunch supporter of the president and even joined him on stage at a Missouri rally ahead of the 2018 midterms, insisted that Trump still “holds all the cards” when it comes to negotiating with Congress for the wall.
Hannity claimed that Trump would simply declare a national emergency to obtain the funds if he couldn’t seal a deal for the wall with Congress during the next three weeks that the government is reopened...

Never. I love the pawn sacrifice. A total onslaught by my pawns will throw my opponent into disarray...if they are properly deployed...and keep them from continuing with whatever opening they have in mind.

The gallant dead from Gettysburg, Omaha, Iwo, Khe Sahn, and so many other scenes of sacrifice must be proud of what this country, (are we even a country anymore?) has become.

This probably does have to all be timed with RBG leaving a room horizontally, as well as some 9th Circuit appointments and others.

I agree. I sometimes wonder if the reason Republicans are such wimps is because they know their supporters will abandon them at the first hint of trouble.
Our president fights day and night for us. He fights democrats, republicans, the media, the deep state, Hollywood, etc. and for what? One dollar a year!
For goodness sake give the man a chance!!
That's been my prediction from the beginning. Pelosi and Schumer have someone camped outside the Ninth Circus Court of Appeals with the paperwork already ready to go the very minute President Trump declares a National Emergency on the Border.
That's their favorite court to stop anything our President tries to do.
No sooner did Trump cave then Nancy and Chuck made it perfectly clear that theyou would NEVER APPROVE FUNDING FOR ANY WALL. Chuck went so far as to then call Nancy "MADAME PRESIDENT"
Like I said; tell it to Nancy and Chuck, they are running the show and they know it.
It is easy to run for the hills away from the political front lines where Trump is battling.
Then if Trump triumphs later, they’ll rush back and say “Love ya, Trump. I was with you all along.”
That old folk tale that has the lines about a farmer needing his son to work but the son fell off a horse and broke his leg so couldn’t work. The farmer bemoaned his senseless bad fortune.
Then their political leader ordered a forced draft of all young males. The son was not drafted due to his leg. So all the other young men went to battle in a hopeless cause and were all slaughtered for nothing. The farmer’s son was spared. So a good thing.
God tests us all over the place. Note: A Bible commentary among the many from which I read daily said: God does not test evil ones. He only tests the good people. The reason: good people may improve on weakness and avoidance of temptation and be further blessed for good deeds and repentance but evil ones have the chance but are not expected to benefit from being tested.
The evil thus may appear to have wealth filled, powerful lives and find out in the next life that this brief life was a wasted opportunity.
