Comet Ping Pong, the Washington, D.C. pizzeria that internet hoaxers made famous as part of the "Pizzagate" conspiracy theory, was the alleged victim of arson on Thursday night, and investigators are searching for a suspect.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) sent out a tweet Friday night with a picture of a "white male, 25 - 30 years old, with blonde hair, mustache and a beard" saying that the man was "wanted for questioning."
According to the Washington Post, an unidentified patron set fire to a curtain in the back of Comet Ping Pong on Thursday evening. The fire was extinguished by staffers and no one was injured. Because investigators found burned matches and a bottle of charcoal lighter fluid, investigators made the "unanimous" decision that the fire was caused by arson, according to the Post's reporting.

That’s not how I remember it. I remember emails of John Podesta being released by Wikileaks (or somebody). Emails that NO ONE ever denied belonged to Podesta regardless of how they were obtained. These emails contained strange verbiage. This verbiage was identified as verbiage pedophiles use. There were all types of weird as hell emails between people that led to this pizza joint as well as people that were also connected and right into the Obama White House. As usual the people guilty with the help of their bought and paid for media buddies of which many were ‘regulars’ at the ‘restaurants’ in the area shut down any reporting by declaring it all a hoax. A tactic that has been used for decades to cover up crimes committed by the elite.

The purpose of the misinformation is simple: make people look gullible and wrong. It worked pretty well when a gunman showed up at Comet Pizza looking for a basement that did not exist. At that point many people discount any other charges against the Podestas.
Of course there's no way to know whether any of the allegations are true or not. And there's certainly no way to know if my contention is correct. It is partly correct: there is no basement. But it may be that the basement was the misinformation.
