The Mainstream Media will do whatever is necessary to protect Native American and professional agitator Nathan Phillips.
Phillips, who was filmed harassing a group of Catholic school students, was a guest on NBCs Today with Savannah Guthrie.
On Wednesday Guthrie grilled 16-year-old Nick Sandmann, the young man who bore the brunt of Phillips abuse. She asked the boy if he saw his own fault in the incident.
However, she lobbed softballs during her interview with Phillips going so far as to dismiss reports that he lied about serving in Vietnam. shared the video late Wednesday night on Twitter:

Gads, I can’t top that quote. LMAO. I do remember as a kid the El Toro Theater. Only a few kids and drunk marines on a Saturday but Vietnam was in full swing.By 1972 El Toro was nothing like 1965-1969.
So what is the deal with this SOB? Did anyone track his records down? Or didnt he have any military records? DD214?
I have been away since Monday.
The Commie left will defend ANYONE that keeps their narrative alive. They know this guy is a liar, but they don’t care..just like they know there was NO Russian Collusion, they dont care..as long as their narrative is met
OK. I answered my own question. Just got home so..
Anyway, this on Breitbart. A quote.
“The report said at age 19, Phillips was charged with escaping from the Nebraska Penal Complex where he was confined May 3, according to a May 9, 1974, article in the Lincoln Star. The court approved a bond of $500 and set a preliminary hearing for May 14, according to the article.
Phillips then pleaded guilty to assault on June 19, 1974, and was fined $200, according to the report. He was also charged with underage possession of alcohol in 1972, 1973, and 1975, as well as negligent driving, the report said.”
I guess that just about covers it hey?
Hat tip to Breitbart.
as Laura Ingraham asked today - how come the 30 producers or thereabouts on MNC’s “Today” progam couldn’t discover this?
24 Jan: Washington Examiner: Stolen valor: Native American activist Nathan Phillips lied that he was a ‘Vietnam vet’ in Facebook video
by Alana Goodman
But now, Phillips has been shown claiming outright that he served in the Vietnam War in a video posted to the Native Youth Alliance Facebook page last January...
Phillips first came under scrutiny for misrepresenting his military service this week ***after he was inaccurately described as a Vietnam veteran by the Lakota Peoples Law Project...
https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/stolen-valor-native-american-activist-nathan-phillips-lied-that-he-was-a-vietnam-vet-in-facebook-video
***how about all the FakeNewsMSM that called him a “Vietnam vet” before then?
As one that lost a cousin (Army Airborne) in 1970 and lost a Marine nephew in Iraq, I hope somebody punches his three remaining teeth down his throat. I also have a significant amount of native american blood, this serially AWOL POS is no Marine, my family is filled with Marines.
“That Marine Corps was a reservist guy”
What the hell does that even mean?
And what the hell does AIM have to do with anything? This guy ain’t playing with a full deck.
Interesting, since his claimed military service was 1972-1976 in the Marines. (We left Vietnam in 1973.) Looks like he spent more time in jails than in uniform.
As far as I can remember, at the late time during that war if anyone had any criminal record they wouldnt take them.
If some vet would get in his face and demand he show his DD 214s...its all over.
Typical from his tribe.
This is so FREAKIN’ TRUE.
I thought it was unusual that when they really want to lie about something, they pull the ole “a poll says” or “people are talking about” or “ this is very unpopular with people”
and NO ONE QUESTIONS THEM!
Makes me cry.
Scroll down to where it starts saying Update #1 etc. A vet with the handle random_navy_guy (@angrytigerp) really tears this Phillips guys story up. He dug up just about everything about him from service records to everything else.
