LIAR! NBC says Phillips Never Claimed to be Vietnam Vet

The Mainstream Media will do whatever is necessary to protect Native American and professional agitator Nathan Phillips.

Phillips, who was filmed harassing a group of Catholic school students, was a guest on NBC’s Today with Savannah Guthrie.

On Wednesday Guthrie grilled 16-year-old Nick Sandmann, the young man who bore the brunt of Phillip’s abuse. She asked the boy if he saw his “own fault” in the incident.

However, she lobbed softballs during her interview with Phillips — going so far as to dismiss reports that he lied about serving in Vietnam. shared the video late Wednesday night on Twitter:

Interesting, since his claimed military service was 1972-1976 in the Marines. (We left Vietnam in 1973.) Looks like he spent more time in jails than in uniform.
