Michael Cohen says he’s postponing testimony over threats by Trump

President Trump’s former fixer Michael Cohen will postpone testifying before a House panel next month because his family is being threatened by the president and his new attorney Rudy Giuliani, his lawyer said Wednesday.

“Due to ongoing threats against his family from President Trump and Mr. Giuliani, as recently as this weekend, as well as Mr. Cohen’s continued cooperation with ongoing investigations, by advice of counsel” Cohen will postpone his appearance, Lanny Davis said in a statement.

“This is a time where Mr. Cohen had to put his family and their safety first,” Davis added.
