Committed Socialist and Democrat Party mouthpiece Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) went off on the American capitalist system on Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday.
Ocasio Cortez has warped ideas on the success of Socialism. A trip to Venezuela is warranted for this one.
During her talk with The Atlantic’s Ta-Nehisi Coates Ocasio-Cortez trashed the US system despite its unprecedented success in world history. Completely blind to history and the world around her Ocasio-Cortez continues to promote Marxist ideology. This is the modern day Democrat Party. Ocasio-Cortez likes to wrap up her conceit and ignorance as compassion.
FOX News reported:
When asked whether “a world that allows for billionaires” is “a moral outcome,” Ocasio-Cortez responded: “No it’s not. It’s not.”
She then said that she does not believe all billionaires “like Bill Gates, for example, or Warren Buffett are immoral people.”
“I’m not saying that, but I do think a system that allows billionaires to exist when there are parts of Alabama where people are still getting ringworm because they don’t have access to public health is wrong,” Ocasio-Cortez said.

“I think that it’s wrong that a vast majority of the country does not make a living great wage. I think it’s wrong that you can work 100 hours and not feed your kids. I think it’s wrong that corporations like Walmart and Amazon can get paid.”

I think AOC needs to go down to Miami and hold a socialist rally with a crowd of Cuban refugees who fled Castro. I think she might be struck by a flying fruit of reality from those folks who have lived in AOC’s make-believe world of socialist virtue.

I continue to post: Boston Univ. has accomplished just what they set out to do: fail to provide an adequate education while collecting huge tuition fees.
I graduated from BU in 1966, and at that time I charged them for failing to properly educate me... and that in the face of my continuing protests over the previous semesters that they were failing to provide me access to educational resources.
Looking at the educational products of Harvard & Ivy League colleges it appears to be a trend. Ivy League economists are constantly amazed that our economy is doing well today - after predicting that DJT would cause a world wide depression. One of these balloon heads even told Tucker Carlson recently that socialism was the answer and future history would prove that.

Capitalism is the only moral economic system because:
- It is based on reason, reality, and the proper relationship between consciousness and existence
- it is compatible with the nature of man as a rational being
- it is compatible with God-given natural rights such as life, liberty, private property, and pursuit of happiness
- it is compatible with the virtue of rationality and rationality’s derivative virtues, such as productiveness, justice, independence, integrity
- it is compatible with rational principles such as individualism and egoism
- it is the best system for aggregate wealth accumulation. Wealth is a real good required for happiness
- It is compatible with the rational politics of freedom and limited government
Socialism is incompatible with all of the above and is thus immoral.
She should send every last dime of her trust fund to Venezuela.
