I’ve noticed many pundits, in the fallout from the Covington boys vs. the Native American incident, saying that the kids shouldn’t have worn MAGA hats. I’ve seen it said over and over, mainly by people walking back previous vicious comments about the boys and trying to balance it by now saying “well, they shouldn’t have been wearing the hats.”
Others have chimed in, too, for example this member of Congress. I kid you not:

But however many wore them, it’s stunning that we’ve gotten to the point that wearing a hat in support of a president and making America great is considered a provocation to violence and trouble, and something that should not be done.
It is something like telling Jews in France (or anywhere else) not to wear their skullcaps, although of course a religion is different than a political hat. But both are public statements about a belief (or in the case of religious Jews, an identity and a belief). In Europe, that’s what it’s come to:

Well said. It reminds me of the Muslim religion that promotes chopping the necks of unbelievers. These leftist foot soldiers have a similar religious mindset. It is another instance of pushing God out of their hearts and letting the god of hate (Satan) take rule over their hearts.

I have a Veterans for Trump bumper sticker on my car, along with one that says, “I love America.” My daughter borrowed the car and when she returned it, she had black duct tape over both my stickers. She told me that she was worried that, where she lives (Seattle), they vandalize cars with conservative stickers.
Not about hats. About the fact that the left has decided to attack and destroy normal people. If something identifies you as: pro-life, pro Trump, White, male, you are the hunted. They set up traps, such as the Covington one, into which normal people fall for doing nothing wrong. Then they destroy your life and reputation.
You laughed when I said that they want to eliminate us, after taking all our money.

It’s utterly unacceptable that concepts like
A) Loving your country
B) Wanting your country to be better
C) Supporting your President
are all considered to be pure evil by OUR ENEMY - you know, the same folks who promote racism (hiding as “affirmative action”), murdering unborn babies (which they’re actually proud of) and destroying our country by opening our borders.
I live in a very liberal part of Florida and would be afraid to wear it in public. Just as I was afraid to place a Trump bumper sticker on my car for fear of being run off the road. Or destruction to my car in a parking lot. Or destruction to our house. I don’t trust deranged liberals.
I’ve got a blue maga hat and bought one for each of my sons. I also have a Trump 2020 Keep America Great flag that I fly on my flagpole that is on the highest property around. I double dare anybody to take my first and second amendment rights away.
Should I hide my American flag too? I don’t have a MAGA hat, YET! When I get one, I’m going to wear that SOB out!
I ceased the ballcap thing years ago when all hands seemed to be wearing’em backwards, cept me!
Just wear black fedoras now! That’s as pre-1984 as it gets.
