Monday, January 21, 2019, California Senator Kamala Devi Harris announced her candidacy for the 2020 Presidential election.
Outstanding questions pertaining to her candidacy include her eligibility for this office. The US Constitution specifies only a "natural born" US citizen may hold this post. Definitions of that term, according to the intent of the writers of the Constitution, as well as some later court rulings, indicate this means "born to two US citizen parents." The requirement was intended so that only someone with undivided loyalties to the US, someone not with possible divided loyalties to other nations, could assume the title of commander-in-chief of our armed forces.
“All persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States”
Subject to the jurisdiction thereof==having no other allegiances than the U.S. ‘Not owing allegiance to anybody else’
That counts out Kamala for citizenship under the 14th
The 14th amendment was to make former slaves “whole persons.” It has nothing to do with presidential eligibility.

If no one cares to this day that Obama has absolutely no legit proof he EVER was a citizen and plenty evidence he was never one, born in an unwed mother’s home in Vancouver to a girl too young to confer citizenship, then no one cares about natural born citizen. Obama’s first evidence of citizenship was a us senate passport he was given on the basis of NOTHING.

I know! And here we are again, another election, another smattering of ineligible candidates.
Worse yet, when someone questions it here half the replies are “oh no not this again!”, or “it’s already over, nothing can be done”.
I have a hard time figuring how someone can think so lightly about the natural born clause. Aside from the 2nd amendment, I believe the NBC is one of the greatest protections the founders left us.
Kamala is a citizen at birth. I bet she has a US passport. All she needs to get a passport is to show a US birth certificate. The only issue is whether she is eligible to be President under the Constitution i.e., a natural born citizen. The courts have never ruled on it.
Other than that Kamala is not eligible for the Presidency. Do you know this?

You misrepresent the SCOTUS ruling in United States v. Wong Kim Ark.
Ark claimed to be a natural born citizen in the case. Chief Justice Gray clearly agreed with Ark,as attested to by Gray’s written dicta in the ruling.
HOWEVER, the declarative text of the decision is as follows:
“The evident intention, and the necessary effect, of the submission of this case to the decision of the court upon the facts agreed by the parties were to present for determination the single question stated at the beginning of this opinion, namely, whether a child born in the United States, of parent of Chinese descent, who, at the time of his birth, are subjects of the Emperor of China, but have a permanent domicil and residence in the United States, and are there carrying on business, and are not employed in any diplomatic or official capacity under the Emperor of China, becomes at the time of his birth a citizen of the United States. For the reasons above stated, this court is of opinion that the question must be answered in the affirmative.
Order affirmed.”
THE RULING DECLARED ARK A CITIZEN,BUT DID NOT DECIDE IF HE WAS NATURAL BORN. SCOTUS HAS NEVER RULED ON IT !!!

While I agree Kamala is out, I believe she is out due to the NBC not the 14th.
For instance the 14th speaks of naturalized citizens, a naturalized citizen does not qualify under the NBC. (loyalties at birth were not to the United States)

Children born to illegal aliens are given birth certificates ILLEGALLY by our corrupt stasi state. What’s that got to do with anything?
Children born to foreign nationals, whether here legally or illegally, are CINOs. Citizens in name only. Court created or created out of whole cloth by the bureaucracy. Congress is the only entity under the Constitution given authority to naturalize.
Regardless of the purpose behind the 14th Amendment it does say that people who were born in the United States are, with few specific exceptions, citizens of the U.S.

she’s an anchor baby born to non-citizen parents. Meaning she’s a first-gen’er. And anyone who votes for a first gen’er deserves what they get.
