The 14th amendment was to make former slaves “whole persons.” It has nothing to do with presidential eligibility.

Regardless of the purpose behind the 14th Amendment it does say that people who were born in the United States are, with few specific exceptions, citizens of the U.S.

CITIZEN AND NATURAL BORN CITIZEN ARE TWO DIFFERENT THINGS!
The 14th deals with slaves being made whole persons. PERIOD!
Also please note that the 14th DID NOT INCLUDE NATIVE AMERICANS!
