The news stations in Austin, TX are still spreading the demonrat lies about what happened. What else do you expect from that uber lib hell hole?
President Trump needs to let all Americans know about this media stunt, as the media themselves surely will not. I hope this causes a sea change in how Americans view the media, and I hope it's not pretty...
My friend is 62 and when he was 17 the Vietnam war was over.

If Nathan Phillips (aka “Dances with Soros”) ever went to Nam it was most likely with Jane Fonda.
The last battle of Vietnam was the Mayaguez Incident that occurred in May, 1975. 15 Marines were killed in action and another 23 were killed in an aircraft accident. Those Marines are the last names on the Vietnam Memorial. In addition, a Marine Detachment at the Embassy remained until we evacuated. We also had other advisors and other personnel until we evacuated and some remained after Vietnam fell working on the Paris agreements.
You are correct about the date of when the last combat troops left and the Gimlets task force was that unit. I don’t couldn’t tell this guy from Crazy Horse, but if he claims to be either a Vietnam Vet or a Vietnam era veteran like Senator Blumenthal, the Marine veteran who claimed to have served in Vietnam when he never did so. It was a weekend of lies, this one can be resolved with a DD214.
What kind of Indian name is Nathan Phillips?
Ladies and gentlemen, the Stardust Lounge is proud to present for your listening pleasure the Nathan Phillips Trio with Nathan Phillips on the bongo, Lizzy Warren on the glockenspiel and Ward Churchill playing his organ!
Look at the total fraudulent interview.
He’s a protected minority, and thus is allowed to get away with anything. There was a black guy here in Minnesota who used to show up at demonstrations wearing an Army uniform decked out with medals, captain bars, and 1st Sgt stripes. He claimed to be an Iraq war vet. I don’t remember him ever being challenged by any “reporter” or anyone else. I’m sure they were either too ignorant to realize that this was a bogus uniform, or they didn’t want to be called a “racist” for challenging him.
I agree that nobody now 64 would have seen combat in Nam.
He "might" qualify as a "Vietnam era" vet, but his claim is still most likely a LIE!
The very last marine in Vietnam was on the helicopter that lifted off the roof of the embassy in April 1973. At the time I was working the 8th AF Command Post in Guam. What a goat rope! Believe that marine died while working as a civilian in the Pentagon on 9/11. As to Phillips, I’d like to see his DD 214. If he’s 64, I doubt if he was ever in country.
I understand what you are saying. You have the green and white ribbon.
But current use of the term is:
Vietnam veteran definition
A Vietnam veteran is someone who served in the armed forces of participating countries during the Vietnam War. The term has been used to describe veterans who were in the armed forces of South Vietnam, the United States armed forces, and countries allied to them, whether or not they were stationed in Vietnam during their service.
My NDSM is for service during the VN War. But I do not tell folks I am Vietnam vet, as I consider in country service to be the qualifier.
See post 24.
True dat - but he would have had to be headed in-country as everyone else was leaving.
Heap big smoke-screen.
My dad is a 69-70 vet and is 68. He went over at 19.
If this guy was born in 1954, he would have been 17 in 71, when the earliest time he could have possibly entered. Which means at best he enlisted during the drawdown. It’s possible but something tells me he’s probably Vietnam era, at best. Probably signed up in 72 and did some regional deployment
Since he also claims to be a Marine, it is possible that he’s a Vietnam vet at 64. There was an embassy there until the fall of Saigon in 1975 so there were Marine Security Guards. Also the Mayaguez incident is considered the last battle of the Vietnam war. This took place in May 1975. Those Marines who were killed during that battle are listed on the Vietnam Memorial Wall.
With the above being said, the amount of Marines involved in MSG post 1972 and in the Mayguez incident are so small that yes I am very skeptical of this guy. However, unlike the press I won’t outright call him a liar until his claims are proven false. However, in the 50’s western vernacular, red man smells like heap big Stolen Valor....
FYI I’m 67. Was drafted in December 1971 after 2 years of college. Missed going to Vietnam by about 2 weeks.
The truth is more than half the fight.
